Campus Visit Takeaways
Campus visits are often the catalyst for turning accepted students into matriculating first-years. Westover School, one of our long-time clients, holds an annual Revisit Day for just this purpose. In the spring, accepted students are invited back to campus to experience Westover for a day. Creating a warm, welcoming environment and personalizing each visit are the day's priorities—activities and events are designed to give every visiting student and their family a chance to be part of the community and to meet faculty, students, and staff.
This year, Studio-e collaborated with Westover to rethink their Revisit Day program brochure. We evolved the piece into a student-centric, takeaway brochure organized around the three elements of the school's motto: Cogitare, Agere, Esse—To Think, To Do, To Be. The brochure began with a personalized welcome from students, outlined the day's schedule, and then presented aspects of life at Westover—from academics to arts to athletics to dorm life—through student and faculty voices and images .
Throughout Revisit Day, visiting families encountered many of the students and faculty featured in the brochure. Afterward, as they browse the brochure, recognizing people they met, these brief encounters will become personal connections to the Westover School community.
This spring, the Westover Revisit Day was a success—converting a record number of attending accepted students into matriculated students. We were pleased to develop a takeaway piece that was the closing element to a warm, welcoming, personalized Revisit Day.
